.... a place where pre-school children and their carers can come and find friendship and fun in a safe environment .....

On tricycleCarers keep an eye on their children as they race around the hall on bikes, or jump on the trampoline, or play with smaller toys.

There are things to make and do and refreshments too!

Most of our clientele are very regular attenders. During the year about 40 families (50 or more children) have attended two or more sessions. We usually have about 14-16 families each week.  Our youngest visitor this year was 4 weeks old and a few mums, after a break, have returned with new toddlers. Everyone helps with 'tidy up time'. Santa was visited by 25 children and no-one screamed!

Diane has continued with her magnificent craft creations - sticking is very popular, we buy Pritt in bulk - and more parents supervise their children at the activity table. With a slightly younger average age of child, Diane's craft creations are simpler. Wednesday afternoons would not be complete without our indispensable team of tea ladies.  To them all, our thanks.

The mums/dads/grandmas/carers all appreciate our efforts, and comment on how friendly and welcoming our group is. We continue to be a welcoming, caring group who fulfil a need in the community. Families are free to come for just one session or more regularly without any commitment, financial or otherwise.

We have to say goodbye when children go to full time school.

We meet in term-time on Wednesday afternoons, 1.30 to 3.00 and cost £1 per week per family.
